This story has more information about the Apple touchscreen patent and describes that Apple could be developing a virtual iPod interface for the screen (with force feedback!). The touchscreen can also recognize multiple fingers at the same time, for example to control rotation or zoom movements. Apple continues to innovate, and hold ambitions to lead the market in every computing area there is. Integrating seemingly nichified technology with other devices, they can manage to come up with some of the most amazing products which are not only easy to use, but strike a genuine sense of awe amongst the ones who use them.
